West Indian Chaplaincy, Birmingham 

The Sisters’ ministry to the West Indian Community began in the 1970’s and is centred mainly in Birmingham with links in Coventry, Oxford and Wolverhampton.Mass is celebrated on Sundays, Holydays of Obligation and First Fridays. There is a lively Chaplaincy centre in Aston, with activities including, Faith Sharing, Steel Band, Gospel Choir, Luncheon club and Credit Union.Pilgrimages, retreats and outings are also important part of the calendar. Two Sisters are engaged directly in this ministry and either participate or organize many of these activities. They are also involved in the pastoral care of the sick and housebound.
