the Year of St Paul
In December 2008
St Paul’s Convent in Selly Park, the mother house of the Congregation, was privileged to be the custodians of a special icon of St Paul.
The icon was donated to the Archdiocese by St Paul’s publishers and was venerated by many churches during the year of St Paul.
Bishop David Mc Gough celebrated Mass in the chapel. His homily to us on this occasion highlighted many aspects of Paul’s passionate love for Christ. Having heard the story of Paul’s conversion many times, the Bishop invited us to not just hear it recounted again, but to walk down that road to Damascus following where Paul was leading.
