The Message of St. Paul
The Message of St. Paul
In his letter to the Ephesians Paul states “We are God’s work of art, created in Christ Jesus.” (Eph2:10) This thought should give courage and hope to us today. Although we are surrounded by much materialism, the gems of “God’s work of Art” shine through to encourage us on our path to salvation when we will share in the fullness of Christ.
The Conversion of Paul has reverberated round the world for the last 2000 years. Its effects are felt in the Society of today, within its joys, sufferings, wars, greed, nobleness and integrity. The message of Paul teaches us that we do not live for ourselves alone, we are members of the Body of Christ, as Colossians says “You are God’s chosen race” and like leaven in the dough ready to show “sincere compassion, kindness and humility.” These hallmarks of the love of Jesus should “find a home in you.” (Col. 3)
