The Legacy of St. Paul

Paul left us a blueprint of how we might order our lives if we are sincere in our efforts to follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit. A slow, prayerful reading of Gal. 5:16-26 will be of benefit “while we have the chance.” He writes it in “my own handwriting and in large letters.”

We are further urged by the Holy Father, Pope Benedict as he declared the opening of the Jubilee Year of Saint Paul: “Today Christ needs apostles, ready to sacrifice themselves. He needs witnesses and martyrs like St. Paul. Paul lived and worked for Christ. For him he suffered and died. How timely is his example today!”
