Postulancy

This is the first stage of formation/ incorporation into the religious life as a Sister of Charity of St. Paul. The postulancy normally lasts between six and twelve months. A measure of flexibility may be allowed depending on individual circumstances.
A woman is considered for entering the postulancy stage when she shows a desire to deepen her relationship with God in a way that leads to a lifelong commitment. During postulancy she is given the opportunity to explore further a lived experience of religious life within the Congregation of the Sisters of Charity of St. Paul. She will continue discernment of her call to religious life and will engage fully with the postulancy stage of formation.
